Author Biography
Deirdre Fishel is an award-winning writer and director of documentaries and dramas, most centering on women-'s lives. Her films have been screened in festivals around the United States and Europe, and have been broadcast on more than thirty television channels worldwide. She teaches at the New School in New York City and lives in Brooklyn with her daughters, Lucia and Maeve.Diana Holtzberg is a vice president of Films Transit International, a worldwide documentary sales company representing films that have won Emmys, Peabodys, and Oscar nominations. She also executive produces many highly acclaimed documentaries. Holtzberg, who began her career at Spin, Inc,. and Details, is a coauthor of three widely read documentary industry articles and the credited ghostwriter of The Warrior Diet. She lives in Manhattan.
