Author Biography

Vesanto Melina, MS, RD, is coauthor of the American Dietetic Association's "Position Paper on Vegetarian Nutrition," and of the Vegetarian section of the Manual of Clinical Dietetics. She consults for individuals, government, and vegetarian food companies and has taught nutrition at the University of British Columbia and at Bastyr University in Seattle Brenda Davis, RD, is a nutrition consultant in private practice and the Vegan Advocacy Director of the CARE campaign (www.hope-care.org). She is a past chair of the Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group of the American Dietetic Association
