Author Biography


Steven A. Safren, Ph.D. is the Associate Director of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Program and the Director of the Behavioral Medicine Service at Massachusetts General Hospital, and is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School. Carol A. Perlman, Ph.D. received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida and is a Clinical Assistant in Psychology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School, and Project Director at the Harvard University Department of Psychology. Susan Sprich, Ph.D. received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. She is a Clinical Assistant in Psychology at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School. Michael W. Otto, Ph.D. helped develop the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy Program at Massachusetts General Hospital, (MGH) serving as director of the program and Associate Professor of Psychology at Harvard Medical School. He is now a Professor of Psychology at Boston University.
