Das Buch hebt sich von der deutschsprachigen Konkurrenzliteratur deutlich ab, weil hier alle Teilbereiche der Astrofotografie angesprochen werden. Es ist sowohl nach fotografisch-technischen als auch nach astronomischen Problemkreisen gegliedert und so zum Nachschlagen bestens geeignet.
