All drawings in this edition include the latest standards established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). Both US Customary Units (inches) and the International System of Units (metric) are used throughout the book. The ASME Y14.5M-1994 Dimensioning and Tolerancing standard and the CAN3-X78.1-M83 (reaffirmed 1990) Technical Drawings--General Principles standard have been followed.
