Beth Berghoff is assistant professor of education at Indiana University at Purdue Kathryn A. Egawa is currently serving as associate executive director at the National Council of Teachers of English Jerome C. Harste is distinguished professor of education at Indiana University where he holds the Armstrong Chair in Teacher Education Barry T. Hoonan is teaching on Bainbridge Island, Washington, in a multiage program, grades four to six. He serves as a consultant to school districts conducting poetry, writing, and arts integration workshops
